about

This is a collection of 20 piano and cello pieces that I recorded for my maternal grandmother when I was 8 - 10 years old. I had likely been studying piano for 2 or 3 years, and as the complexity and length of the arrangements indicate, I was still working on the basic rudiments of music.

For me, the best part of the recordings are my blasé faire introductions to each piece.

While I continued to study piano well into my teen years, my interest in cello diminished greatly once I entered 5th grade, and brass instruments became an option.

Bonus track of two vocal performances by my sister, Krista.
